Hi there!
I have a problem: I am using a HP Photosmart D6160 printer on Pardus 2008-1, and it does the job reasonable, but I can't monitor the ink-levels, because the "toolbox" is not included in pardus.
On the other hand there is the possibility to use the specially for Linux made HP software, but when I try to install it, there are missing dependencies, so I have a problem. The dutch forum was willing to help, but until now nothing was working. Is there anybody here who has an idea?

Hello and welcome,  Smiley
the program "GIMP" is another right one for this. You find it in the Repos. Wink

Thanks for responding. I know GIMP, but I know alsoo that it doesn't handle 16 bits, cinepaint does, that's why I prefer cinepaint!

Greetings Paul

Hello everybody! I'm new here, and also as a Pardus user. I think it's a great OS, but as usual there are always things one would like a little different. Since I want to use linux for my photography, I woul like to have programs as "Raw Therapee" and "Cinepaint" on my pc. Both are not yet in the repo's, and I am not a "self-compiler", so I would like to ask if there is an oppotunity: RawTherapee schouldn't be to difficult, but cinepaint I dont know.
