@ Lisa, exactly! GNOME flickers, and it doesn't do fullscreen games well (whenever I tried) etc, I really don't like it under Ubuntu based distros e.g. Mint.
@ AlanGB, wait... you didn't like the picture of the odd hyaena staring at you? How strange...

@ Willem, I totally agree, I think its the most similar to Windows, in terms of installation and interface, I think Windows users would be right at home with it.

Hey! Lol, I love GNOME Just a tad unstable... but KDE 4 blows it out of the water I admit - the whole "Desktop" and "Home" folder on the desktop in a tasteful black transparent "box" is an incredible idea.

Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Re: Hold Back Updates

If you don't want the updates, disable Package Manager from the notification area, you will then receive no more notification - but you have to open Package Manage and look for upgradable packages manually if you want updates... still - works for me

Wow, I thought it was really new - I never really heard about it until I read an article about it in LinuxToday, its possible they just don't think its popular enough.
I've been thinking more about it, without sites like TPBay and Mininova, we wouldn't know if a torrent is any good (ratings, comments etc)...
