They used Pardus-2011.2....iso looking at the pictures.
This means it will do the job when a hybrid iso file is involved.
With a hybrid iso also mandriva-seed.sh or mandriva-seed-windows.zip will do the job.
Not every iso file is a hybrid iso, it depend on how it was created.
And when it's a non-hybrid iso you can use Unetbootin to make the bootable USB-device

Could you describe what the problem exactly is as I don't know what you mean by this.

Add 2. Additional (non-official) package source: pardususer.de in Software Sources of Package Manager and set it above 1. Official package source: pardus.

You can not use this .iso file because of this reason

I am in a hold position now and a checksum to test the downloaded file would be helpfull.

I did not have any problem and will try it again later in the day.
My other remarks are that it is not marked as a x86_64 iso and the official check-sums are not available.
