I used to have katapult on 2008, but since it is not available in the repos I tried Launchy. My issues are: 1. it freezes now and then 2. when I exit the session, I get an error message from the system
Basically, it is not half as good as katapult for me.
Do any of you guys experience the same issues befaore I file a bug?

Running Pardus 2009 on an ACER Aspire 4810T with no hitch, nearly everything is working out of the box. The only thing not working is the more light less light fn shortcut. Pardus 2009 is amazing, congrats to the developers....

General / The Pub / Google to launch its own OS!

Based on GNU/Linux no doubt. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8139711.stmA bit cheeky to say "We are completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the OS so that users don't have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates." By that I guess they mean: "we are using GNU/Linux code all the way and making it look Google-like" But good news nonetheless though for FOSS!

Tony
Please allow for PhiX to be a non-English native speaker, I am sure he meant no disrespect. He could have used "couldn't" instead of "can't" but I cannot read any annoyance in his response, allthemore that PhiX has to be the most helpful and patient guy in this forum.
