Lol, sarcastic I assume?

Not sarcastic - I was really pleased to have a suggestion so quick by a fellow forum user

I have found this forum (and users) an excellent resource for a Pardus learner

thanks

Have a look in the properties of the original and renamed folder.
Right click > Properties > Permissions.
Maybe it will help.

Thanks atolboo...
Group and Others no longer had modify in permissions on folder tab

Copy / Replace now working!

What an excellent forum / user support!

I have been backing up my home folder to an external usb drive - no problems

Today for some reason the copy process fails whenever a folder contains a

'

eg music track inside an amarok managed folder "best of the 80's"

if I rename "best of the 80s" copy works?

What have I accidently changed please?

Thanks in advance, Andrew  Huh?

I shall add it Smiley Have you gotten it working in Pardus using source code? ("sh" command?)

running kompozer.sh (actioned from konqueror) - KompoZer works!

hope this helps?

Thanks,

Andrew

Unfortunately, its an out of date program, it has been discontinued: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvu

Could KompoZer be considered for inclusion?

http://www.kompozer.net/

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/kompozer/kompozer-0.7.10-gcc4.0.3-i486.tar.gz?use_mirror=ovh

Debian:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/kompozer/kompozer-0.7.10-i386.deb?use_mirror=ovh

and Redhat available:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/kompozer/kompozer-0.7.10-i386.rpm?use_mirror=ovh

"KompoZer - Nvu's unofficial bug-fix release"

I have used on DEB based distributions - works well IMHO  Wink

28  Assistance / Hardware / Re: [solved]Pardus 2008 sound-problem on: October 25, 2008, 23:10:35 PM
Sony VAIO
VGN-NR21J/S (N-Series)
HDA Intel Sound Hardware

Only works using OSS
Auto-Detect defaulted to ALSA

Very interested in fix.

I reloaded 2008.1
On the 1st update (54 available)
Top-of-the-shop I notice is an update of ALSA
Quickly checked sound system and working with Auto-detect (defaults to ALSA)
I updated 53 leaving ALSA version as shipped
Sound works!

Thanks, Andrew  Grin
