Im little suprised Pardus are only on place no:37 in Distrowatch list:
http://distrowatch.com/I am sure if more people would try it would be among the top five.

It used to be much lower, its on a gradual rise over the years. I've been following it pretty often and I remember when it was around the 60-80s mark. The numbers will improve, but I think they will improve much more due to the live CDs, as you mentioned. I also think when move up on distrowatch, there are more sites willing to review your distro and more linux enthusiasts willing to try it out. Also, I emailed quite a few sites/reviewers to review Pardus and a good portion of them did review it. If there is a linux site you visit or a someone you know someone who does reviews, you should simply request/ask that they review it and more often than not, they will. I'm going to email the same bunch that did the last reviews, when 2009.1 comes out. I think Pardus will be in the Top 20 come next year. Top 10 would be pretty amazing, considering there are so many top level distros out there, but I think Pardus can reach that as well in a few years.
