2  Assistance / News & Announcements / Re: Pardus 2011.1 Beta on: July 07, 2011, 14:25:53 PM
Please make 2011.1 DVD images available to download by Torrent.
Torrents do NOT overload servers. The more people download = faster and easer we ALL will get it in contrary to ftp and http method.
Torrents CAN repair errors so You will always get errors free DVD image.
3  Assistance / News & Announcements / Re: Pardus Corporate 2 is ready. on: February 19, 2011, 12:39:17 PM
Have we Torrents available for this version ?
If somebody can make them I will place it on linuxtracker.org with others here: http://l.pl/hfm

1) Downloading by Torrent do NOT overload servers.
2) The more people use it the faster and easer ALL will get it (more = better (in this case) in contrary to the ftp\http.
3) When You use torrent You can stop anytime turn off computer and continue later without losing parts what You already downloaded.
4) Torrents can repair broken http/ftp download iso without download again another new iso.

That's why I think developers should make torrents as priority way to get ALL Pardus images. Smiley

The link You posted is to 64-bit version but here: http://ftp.pardus.org.tr/pub/ISO/Installation/2011/ are 2 different versions but no torrent file.
What about torrent for the other one (32-bit)?

I have Intel Pentium CPU T3200 2x2.0 GHz (Lenovo notebook). Will this processor suport 64-bit version ?

7  General / Wish list / Re: Support for Pardus 2008.2 on: January 02, 2011, 08:59:52 AM
Or is the list too long Huh?
The list of what I don’t like in kde4 wouldn’t fit the Yellow Pages  Cheesy (just jokeing).

I don’t like what people call “look & feel”.  Undecided Is awkward and too crowded. There is too many options. More not always means better.
Don’t like the way it looks (dolphin), main menu (start button) Angry have to make extra click  to switch through categories instead 1 click (kde3) and You see all of them.
3 is also a less hardware resource demanding than 4.
I was happy with kde3 and can’t see a reason to switch to 4. What for  Huh?
8  General / Wish list / Re: Support for Pardus 2008.2 on: January 01, 2011, 21:24:46 PM
Yes, it’s true I like better kde3 than 4 and that’s my problem.  Sad In fact I don't like kde4 at all.
And by the way what is “corporate” edition and to whom it is intended ?
I doubt if it will have the same multi-media (and some other) support
– is it mean quality of sound and video will be less than in 2011 ?

I support  idea of very long support for 2008.2
10  General / Wish list / Pardus should be Yellow on: December 31, 2010, 11:38:27 AM
Pardus should remain in the yellow tones like it was in the 2008 version. It was a beautiful, unique and attract attention.
I talked with people in Poland and they also like a lot more yellow than what is now.
Fedora is blue, Suse green, Ubuntu useto be brown.

It seems to me You misunderstood the whole idea  Sad
12  Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Re: How resource hungry is KDE 4? on: June 07, 2009, 18:30:01 PM

13  Assistance / News & Announcements / Re: pardus 2009 alpha released on: June 05, 2009, 13:55:28 PM
I just upgraded the alpha version and all of the sudden desktop icon, kick-off icon and other plasmoids' icons disappeared! Did someone else experience the same behavior? Any suggestiond? Cheesy
Suggestions - this is just an alfa version, so the best thing what you can do is report this to developers. I believe they welcome bug reports so they can make correction and make Pardus better.
