i tried to explain drawings here. the orange colored zones are glue areas. the lighter gray lines are notch lines for bending. do not cut them. the outher and darker lines are cutting edges.

i hope it helps.

37  Assistance / News & Announcements / Re: nightly builds on: September 05, 2010, 23:48:23 PM
...... the main goal of this policy is getting pardus development period more interactive.
Result: I can't install Pardus-2011-Nightly-x86_64-[20100905].iso ... it stops at 12% installation and doesn't go any further.

developer team had noticed that some nightly builds may not work while some of them working before. you can wait for another build, if it wont work either, you can inform this issue to bugzilla.

i made pisi package for this app. you can download it from here:

you can use pisiyap to create basic pisi files with graphical interface. search for "pisiyap" at package manager. also you can take a look at parduswiki for making final retouches to make your own pisi packages:

41  General / The Pub / Re: pardus skin for vlc media player on: June 27, 2010, 20:12:46 PM
you are right it has a problem at playing vob file at 1.0.6 on pardus, but i guess this is a vlc player bug, cos i tried other several skins and met this problem again. only default skin play clearly vob files.

which version of vlc installed?
Name: vlc, version: 1.0.6, release: 37, build 15

i am out of city today, so i tried on a windows vista system at vlc 1.0 and 1.1.0, it works clear.  i can try on my pardus installed computer tomorrow and feedback.
44  General / The Pub / Re: pardus skin for vlc media player on: June 25, 2010, 23:35:47 PM
Thanks, but there are some serious problems.
After moving pardus_white.vlt to my ~/.local/share/vlc/skins2 (I have to create a directory skins2) and making the following modifications to Vlc (VideoLAN Media Player):
Vlc > Tools > Preferences > Interface > mark at "Skins" > browse to ~/.local/share/vlc/skins2/pardus_white.vlt > .... > Save.
After restarting Vlc it will not play my *.vob file and after this Vlc can not be closed.
And with the default settings or interface=Native I do not have these problems and Vlc will play my *.vob file.

.vob file? interesting!.. actually, i have no idea how can be a relationship between skin file and media file?

which version of vlc installed?
45  General / The Pub / Re: pardus skin for vlc media player on: June 25, 2010, 16:09:21 PM
Any idea "How to install pardus_white.vlt in Vlc" Huh?

How to use these skins?
Put the downloaded VLT files in the following folder:

    * On Linux/Unix: ~/.local/share/vlc/skins2
    * On Windows: the skins folder in the VLC installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\VLC\skins)

Then open your VLC settings and change your interface from native to skins. You can choose your desired skin already there or change it when you are in the skins mode by rightclicking somewhere on the skin and going to Interface>Choose Skin.
VLC needs to be restarted to change to skins mode.
