Yeah if its tracking dependancies, it'll install 32bit libs

Interesting idea, but surely a nightmare to use , it states it does not deal with dependencies.
So you run the installer the game is downloaded and installed, you then have to find the dependencies to install, if your lucky with your package manager (pisi in pardus) if not you then have to install from source.
Then the precompiled game you downloaded may have been compiled against a different version of the library.

Take comment out, and see if it still behaves. The missing line in hosts could cause an issue if something on your system looks for an ipv6 connection. By disabling the module the system knows there is no ipv6 available

Yes the whole desktop enviroment uses networking, specially the loopback.
Try editing //etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf

add alias net-pf-10 off

to disable ipv6 and see what that does Smiley
20  General / General topics / Re: Mix Pardus 2011 and Corporate repos? on: February 24, 2011, 09:00:51 AM
I would imagine there would be terrible issues if you try and mix the repo's

kde3/4 clash for a start.

You may get away with individual packages, but again they could have been built against different libraries
I would not recommend doing this.

You may however build them from source against your corporate install

Try with this Smiley GUI to make it easier

the stick should not be mounted when running the command, but mandrivaseed will take care of that.

to have wine for 64 is a fallacy, it still requires 32bit libs.
What you want is a multilib/multiarch system  Grin

29  Assistance / Software / Re: Clementine & ipod on: February 06, 2011, 08:39:58 AM
your output is correct, the libpng12 error is because it was compiled against libpng12, I would be very surprised if they only updated one though but as you can see it runs here

I have tried both, from command line and just clicking.....
Both work, I think you may have downloaded an older version as libpng12 was a while ago, try downloading from the link I provided.

Another thing you could try, although not guaranteed would be to make a symlink to libpng12.so
