You also have to set the layouts to get access to the characters.
By default the keyboard is not configured for a specific layout through kde and is based on 101 keys, select your correct keyboard if available or evdev then add english, spanish and german. then keys it should work as you want.

yeah its bailing out on gpgme.h - the header files for gpgme despite installing the devel package.

There is a patch for it in the files folder, and that likely needs editing to point to the correct place.

and when we get passed that it still want gtkhtml2.0 ......
