Thanks atolboo i'll give that a try. I just got home from work and booted up Pardus and the messages is kstartupconfig4 does not exist of fails. the error code is 3.

I just installed pardus 2009 and went to login and i get a message something like kstartup not working, error 3. any ideas?

atolboo: its not a bug, its just that the network-manager is not the correct version or type as other distros use. I'll have to find out and see if i can somehow install the correct version of network-manager.

Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Huawei E169

I have a Huawei E169 usb 3g modem which won't work with Pardus 2009. Ubuntu 9.04 has network-manager 0.7.1 and this modem works correctly with Ubuntu. I tried using kppp to configure this modem as i have done successfully in PCLOS but with no success. Any ideas would be great as pardus has got to be one one the best distros i have tried.

I seen Pardus on Distrowatch and read some reviews. Installed it on my laptop and everything worked except for my huawei e169 modem. This is the only issue that will stop me from using Pardus on my laptop.
