91  Assistance / Bugs / Re: keyboard layout on: July 31, 2009, 21:48:15 PM
Thank you.
But I'm talking about install stage, before KDE install
92  Assistance / Bugs / keyboard layout on: July 31, 2009, 21:22:35 PM
I don't know is it a bug, but when I have started installing Pardus in virtualbox, I have chosen russian keyboard layout (cause I'm russian)
But russian keyboard layout doesn't mean I wanted my username and password to be cyrillic and I have found no way to switch them to latin
So, I'm just comparing with other "Yali"'s Smiley with buttons (something like "Ctrl + Shift" for example, or "Right Ctrl" or something like this) to dynamically switch between native and latin layouts

I see, anyway, there are a lot of other unique features in Pardus. It is not xx-th clone of ubuntu Smiley

My question was: what's the difference between PiSi and let's say rpm. What was the reason to create unique format.
About translation: good, as I know, almost all popular applications are translated into russian, and I have seen somebody has started translation into russian, may be I will install Pardus in virtual box and contact with him.

As I see, Pardus uses its own package format and I have got a lot of questions. There can I read about it?
About translation: I can help only with translation from english to russian, the only turkish word I know is "Pisi" Smiley

I have seen somebody at www.osnews.com told that Pardus 2009 is the best KDE4-distro. And he wasn't alone! 3-4 guests told the same! I'm going to give it a try. I'm russian. There is no russian version right now, but I hope soon there will be one  Roll Eyes
May be I will help to create it.
