2  Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Language Help (solved) on: August 11, 2009, 18:33:40 PM
I'm using Pardus 2008.2 , and I can't make Macedonian language to write, there is no option in TASMA->Regional & Accessibility to change to Macedonian language, or some other language that is using Cyrillic characters (like Serbian, Russian, Croatian etc..).
I can use only latin languages.

So do I need to update some package from internet? or there is some other way to make that.

Thanks,

Regards

Igor
3  Assistance / Software / Re: Want to use 1 windows program on: August 11, 2009, 02:44:27 AM
I would like to use 1 windows program in pardus. What is the best/easiest way to do this? The program is not a game doesnt need anything fancy i dont think.

What do I do, I looked at the pardus wiki and there were instructions for qemu and vmware but they looked complex, what is the easiest way?

Use Package Menager (PISI) search for WINE program, install it. After installing, search for Windows program .exe file and right click -> open with -> wine.. it will start to install like on windows.

Thanks a lot, but I have solved the problem.

I have edited /etc/fstab file. I've putted just two more lines and restart the computer. Now it is everything ok.

I was adding those two lines at the end of file:

/dev/sda4 mnt/sda4 ntfs-3g force 0 0
/dev/sda1 mnt/sda1 ntfs-3g force 0 0

So i think that this will help to someone else.

Hi to all, I don't know does this is right plase for this topic, but I'll write my problem..

I have installed Pardus 2008.2, and I have problems with mounting a NTFS partition.

I have one user with admin rights. But when I go to mount NTFS partition it says that I don't have a permissions.

I'm trying to open with SUPER USER FILE MENAGER, it is the same, I can't mount them like a root user.

So could some one help me .. or sugest something that will help.

BTW I also try to update ntfs-3g but nothing happend.

Thanks.
