16  Assistance / Software / Browsers on: June 04, 2011, 00:25:34 AM
I notice that when playing some video clips they are very jerky in Chrome (my preferred browser), but play better in Firefox. Is this just because Firefox is a better browser, more suited to Pardus, or are there settings I should change?
17  Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Re: Nvidia driver on Pardus 2011 on: April 23, 2011, 00:04:16 AM
Working for me so far  Grin

Personally I preferred OpenOffice to LibreOffice, it worked better for me. In Pardus 2011 I use softmaker-office.

20  Assistance / Hardware / Re: Printer prints in gray instead of black on: April 06, 2011, 00:11:13 AM
That's interesting. I have the same thing, but had assumed it was the printer (HP Deskjet F2480), or maybe the black ink running low.
21  Assistance / Software / Re: Clipboard for XFCE on: April 05, 2011, 10:53:32 AM
* (One exception: this forum wouldn't let me log in via Opera; I had to come in via Firefox. But I don't think that's a Pardus problem.)

I've just logged in using Opera, so it's not an Opera problem.
22  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Re: upgrade packages on: March 26, 2011, 23:38:32 PM
I realised that the pardususer.de repo wasn't a problem. That's why I left it there along with the official stable repo. You are probably quite right in your assumption that having the official and the devel active at the same time caused the problem.

It's ok   Grin
I removed all but the official repo and the pardususer.de repo and started again with Chris's instructions and all is fine now.
Thanks for your help everybody.

Still getting the same message:
Dependency kdelibs version >= 4.6.1 of kdeutils-filelight cannot be satisfied
System error. Program terminated.
Upgrade is not possible.
26  Assistance / Software / SRWare Iron on: March 05, 2011, 22:23:25 PM
I discovered SRWare Iron in Pardususer.de as the result of a post by atolboo and used it all the time in 2009.2. I cannot make it work in 2011 and would be really grateful if someone could make a pisi package.
27  Assistance / Software / Re: Deadbeef player on: March 04, 2011, 23:01:27 PM
Thanks for this. I haven't seen Deadbeef before, but when I was a Windows user I used Foobar2000, and this is very similar.
28  General / Wish list / Re: wishlist: scanner programs on: February 20, 2011, 10:36:00 AM
I'm not sure whether you're using the i686 version of Pardus, but if you are you will find xsane in the http://paketler.pardus.org.tr/pardus/2011/devel/i686/pisi-index.xml.xz repo. I haven't installed it myself, but it's definitely listed there.
29  General / Introduce yourself / Re: Hello there fellow Pardus Users on: February 19, 2011, 22:25:39 PM
Thanks for your warm welcome!
I will try to post some wallpapers within time, since this is the only way I can give anything back to the community.
For now, you can check out some of my stuff here!

Very nice, you have a talent. Hope you stay around  Smiley
30  General / Fun website / Re: Linux based valentine :) on: February 14, 2011, 23:31:54 PM
I love Linux for many of the reasons given, but also because I have so much less software running in the background slowing everything down (bloated antivirus programs etc).
Why does anyone here love Linux?
