I notice that when playing some video clips they are very jerky in Chrome (my preferred browser), but play better in Firefox. Is this just because Firefox is a better browser, more suited to Pardus, or are there settings I should change?

* (One exception: this forum wouldn't let me log in via Opera; I had to come in via Firefox. But I don't think that's a Pardus problem.) I've just logged in using Opera, so it's not an Opera problem. |

I realised that the pardususer.de repo wasn't a problem. That's why I left it there along with the official stable repo. You are probably quite right in your assumption that having the official and the devel active at the same time caused the problem.

It's ok  I removed all but the official repo and the pardususer.de repo and started again with Chris's instructions and all is fine now. Thanks for your help everybody. |

Didn't work for me  Still getting the same message: Dependency kdelibs version >= 4.6.1 of kdeutils-filelight cannot be satisfied System error. Program terminated. Upgrade is not possible. |

I discovered SRWare Iron in Pardususer.de as the result of a post by atolboo and used it all the time in 2009.2. I cannot make it work in 2011 and would be really grateful if someone could make a pisi package.

Thanks for this. I haven't seen Deadbeef before, but when I was a Windows user I used Foobar2000, and this is very similar.

I love Linux for many of the reasons given, but also because I have so much less software running in the background slowing everything down (bloated antivirus programs etc).
Why does anyone here love Linux?
