Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Re: Poor wireless reception on Pardus 2009.2

Exactly the same problem here.
I have tried a bunch of things to make it work without success and have given up on pardus for that reason.
I would be interested to see a solution for that so I could try pardus again.
I love the distribution and I would like to stick with it. But without internet connection I can't do that.

Exactly, NergÄrd.
That gives us the idea the they don't really care about the international community. I was hopping to get the news about the 2009.1 release from their site but I had to read from elsewhere.

Assistance / Installing Pardus / Re: cannot execute murur.py

Well,
I burned as an ISO IMAGE.
It boots OK, after selecting the first option (Pardus Calisan ...) the error occurs.
It even shows a progression bar. But that doesn't last too much and goes to the terminal and shows that error that I said.

Assistance / Installing Pardus / cannot execute murur.py

Hi,
I'm new here and it's the first time I'm testing pardus. I downloaded the livecd version of 2009.1 and checked the MD5 sum and everything was correct. So I burned a cd with it, using 4x.
But after booting I received this error:
cannot execute /sbin/murur.py
Id "x": respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes Id "x": respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes Id "x": respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
I tried in 3 different machines. What could I have done wrong?
