I found the package kdeedu which has kmplot (mathematical function plotter) Huh?
Thanks. Probably it's too simple but I'll try.

And I don't know what "Microcal Origin" is?
Origin is a scientific graphing and data analysis software package for MS Windows: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_(software). This (being for MS Windows) is the reason I need alternatives ...

Hello.

I am in search of some plotting software to replace Microcal Origin. Browsing through the thread http://worldforum.pardus-linux.nl/index.php?topic=2364.0 I got an impression that there is a SciDAVis pisi-file somewhere in the repositories. Unfortunately I was not able to locate it. Could you please help me to resolve this problem?

Thanks a lot in advance.

PS. I'm a novice with Pardus (and Linux in general). It looks great! So far I am quite satisfied with and am actually planning to move away from Windows to Linux once I get familiar enough with the latter.
