U can try sakis3g

Gnome Network manager in Pardus 2011 is back end not front end. In Debian KDE I just remove knetwork-manager and replace with Gnome-network-manager-applet.

Agree with torrents point. Torrents can repair broken http/ftp download iso without download again another new iso.
3  Assistance / Software / Re: Firefox 3.6 on: January 30, 2011, 06:18:51 AM

http://getswiftfox.com/
Just copy old .mozilla/firefox/ profiles to pardus2011
4  Assistance / Software / [SOLVED] Re: Download manager other than aria2 on: August 07, 2010, 17:00:28 PM
Hi atolboo,
Thanks for the idea. I'am using rpm2tgz.
aget-0.4-3.rhfc1.dries.i386.rpm work.
aget-0.4-sb1.i386.rpm give some relocation error

Then just copy aget from aget-0.4-3.rhfc1.dries.i386.rpm  to /usr/local/bin

7  Assistance / Software / Download manager other than aria2 on: August 06, 2010, 04:17:25 AM
Hi,

I'am looking for aget, axel or prozilla.
I try compile from source code but stuck at some error.

i have stop using aria2 because after downloading 2 different iso both have wrong md5sum. No problem with axel/prozilla/aget.

Code:
ida-pardus axel-2.4 # ./configure
The strip option is enabled. This should not be a problem usually, but on some
systems it breaks stuff.

Configuration done:
  Internationalization enabled.
  Debugging disabled.
  Binary stripping enabled.
ida-pardus axel-2.4 # make
gcc -c axel.c -o axel.o -Wall -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -Os

Yeah pardus is great original distro. The pisi command more user friendly than yum, zyper, apt, urpmi.

15  General / Introduce yourself / Hello From Malaysia on: June 08, 2010, 05:47:45 AM
Hi everybody.

I'am from Malaysia. I have try so many distro, big, small, even with language i not understand. Start from hardy heron Gnome then move to KDE desktop base distro. I have even try PC-BSD.

One thing i like about pardus is small file size. You know more and more distro become bloatware like windows. Pardus CD still have room for OpenOfficeOrg. I cant belive Pardus virtualbox just 7 mb only not over 40mb like another distro.

Thanks u.
