When i start firefox from terminal, it starts, but gives the error in LINE1. When i go to any website, another error LINE2 is generated and firefox closes down. Konqueror is working fine though.
mahmood@pardus2011 ~ $ firefox
LINE1 (process:1925): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion `sys_pageL_size == 0' failed LINE2 Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 612: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!
I tried to uninstall and then install firefox again but same errors.
Any ideas ?

Hi atolboo and Lisa, Thanks for help, At the moment i am patiently issuing pisi upgrade commands one after the other, as suggested by atolboo. every few packages, it tells me that one of the package xxx.pisi is not available, next time it downloads it and gives the error on some other package. I will keep on doing this. i will also try to selectively upgrade important packages first. By the way, do we have firefox 6.0 in repos? you know both mozilla and libreoffice developement is so fast these days, maybe the devs need to automate the repo updates

I wanted to update from 2011 directly to 2011.2. there were around 379 updates to be installed. i tried to update all via both the Package Manager and the terminal pisi upgrade command. After downloading some pisi packages one of the packages fail to download and give error. Next time issuing pisi upgrade will result in downloading the previous problem package and then some other package will fail to download.
Hence i have to issue repeated pisi upgrade commands. Am i doing something wrong?
Second issue, is there only one repo? I am using 32 bit Pardus. Can someone put a list of all repos for 32 and 64 bit in a sticky thread, etc., for the benefit of new users.

i have a 2011 CD which i want to test but since it has been some time, 2011.2 has already arrived. I hope if i do a complete update i will be on 2011.2?
Also, is there any release cycle for Pardus? What i mean is that when are we expecting the new version and is there a way to upgrade (such as ubuntu offers wherein you can upgrade to the next version with one click, etc.)
