in any case you will need to compile your kernel yourself

and are unlikely possible to find manual the kernel compilation under Pardus

AFAIK no support for this chip in the kernel 6.2.37 (the kernel is in pardus 2011.2).

But his support is a kernel 3.0.x. But still not complete and no stability.

guess who's back: diginotar! removed their certificate and entry yesterday from ff 3.6.19
I have just the same with FF5.0  but by me it is back when I open certificate again???

package nss contains certificates
firefox in Linux distributions is going to use the system nss.
nss now has been updated in the repositories pardus

just update system in package-manager Smiley

DigiNotar certificates will be present in browsers. But they will be shutdown confidence and will be reset serial number.

still firefox 5.0. I'm laughing and crying. I builded firefox 6.0.2 for myself . just rewrite pspec.xml rules and taking the same patches from opensuse.

I assure you there is nothing no such that it was impossible to update it. But the behavior of the maintainers is to me puzzling. What were they forget? lazy? or they do not need firefox as well and do not need a plug-in google talk?

FIRST.

may be strigi heavy load? Try to disable them in System Settings - http://thefreecountry.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/ne.png

SECOND.

In any case, install htop

sudo pisi install htop

and run it in console
in it you can see which process loads.

An even easier way to run System Monitor in KDE. Do View> All process and sort by CPU% tab
40  General / The Pub / Re: LSB-certified printer + LSB-certified OS distribution = Just works! on: August 26, 2011, 02:09:07 AM
Don´t blame Linux, blame the printer manufactures!

YEP! But (AFAIR again) HP 1005 out for a long time and now did not produced and not supported by HP Sad

John A: There http://www.openprinting.org/printers/manufacturer/HP there are a lot of new printers are fully supported under Linux!  Smiley
41  General / The Pub / Re: LSB-certified printer + LSB-certified OS distribution = Just works! on: August 26, 2011, 01:53:33 AM
AFAIR Support for HP 1005 came in  HPLIP 2.7.12 version. That is, the printer must to work in pardus too.
42  General / General topics / Fatih Projesi "Pardus" ??? on: August 22, 2011, 02:41:57 AM
http://www.ozgurlukicin.com/haber/fatih-projesi-pardus-dedi/

What is written here?
Maybe someone is more or less translated into English?
Online translators are very wrong with Turkey.

I understand that has something to do with education in Turkey and the replacement of Windows on Pardus? Or what?

44  Assistance / Hardware / Re: Power issue in linux kernel on: August 07, 2011, 08:13:01 AM
If the updates will come a new kernel, for example, 06/02/38 or 29, or 3.0

Then you need to look at the situation and to compare the energy consumption.

On the other hand the kernel 37 does not BKL-free.
45  Assistance / Hardware / Re: Power issue in linux kernel on: August 06, 2011, 23:55:15 PM
I believe there is no reason to worry. Pardus uses kernel 2.6.37.x. According to Phoronix energy usage problems began in the kernel 2.6.38.
