Can someone provide me with a step by step guide for idiots on how to install wicd...Network Manager will not recognize that I even have wireless..My wireless works in almost all the other distros I have tried.

When I try to edit that file it asks for root password, when I put in my password it says it is incorrect..So i cannot access file, How do i set up root password

I was wondering if anyone knew if kde 4.7 would be available for Pardus? and on my laptop I have blinking black lines that are across the top of my screen. I am using a Hp g7 with ati graphics

I am trying to play the Game Flight Gear, and it will not open. I cannot find the link to open it in the terminal. and typing flightgear does not work....

The biggest problem I am having is with the screen size. Should I be using Twin View or just hook up tv separate? I guess a step by step settings tutorial would help. lol
side note. I put it using my computer monitors specs, but the panel is not visible neither is some of the desktop.

I am trying to set up my computer to play through my TV. (I am getting rid of my cable bill). I am going to use it for watching Shows on hulu and such. I was wondering how to set up my computer to have my monitor and TV running. I am using Pardus 2011 64bit, and connecting through HDMI port

I just hope that eventually we will be able to have Banshee or Rhythmbox fully compatible with Pardus.(ie..Ipod support). That is the only thing keeping me from fully using pardus 2011. while Amarok works with ipod's I like to use Rhythmbox or banshee to mess with playlists and such on my ipod

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libgmime-2.6.so /usr/lib/libgmime-2.4.so.2 that worked!! Thank you so much

I did I am getting the same error.  I was also trying to find banshee, but when i went to the website. I could not find a dl that would work
