That Effect is called Present windows.
1. You have to ensure that the 'Present Windows' <desktop effect<system settings is activated. The settings for that are also present there.
2. Go to screen edges<window behavior<system settings and click the screen edge and select the 'Present Windows w or w/o all desktops to assign the activation method.

1. The thumbnail of applications which were minimized and the system rebooted were not restored after reboot.
2. After loading any wine program, the screen flickers.
3. Nepomuk (~2.6 GB) is taking up huge space. Google desktop (~500 Mb) is much better in conserving space and faster. Does anyone know where i can get user documentation for nepomuk.

Hi,
The screen goes black when i run clementine visualisation in full screen and move the mouse cursor towards the control panel in the bottom. It works properly in window mode. But i'm not able to switch to window mode as the whole computer gets stuck once the screen goes black. The only action that works is ctrl + Alt + f1. No other action (keyboard and mouse) seems to work.

The following global keyboard shortcuts are not working.
1. All the global keyboard shortcuts for Basket.
2. Play;Pause;Play/Pause actions in Clementine.
3. Function key combinations which are natively supported (because i see the physical icons on the keyboard keys) are not working except fn + esc which is un/muting. My laptop is Toshiba L300 PSLBGG model.
4. Walking through windows (reverse) which is in KWin is not working if the shortcut is something other than Alt + Shift + Tab. I've put Meta+Shift+Tab.
5. Keyboard layout icon in systray is not assigned.
6. Setting the global keyboard settings in the widget settings does not work but setting them in global settings in the system settings works.

Hi,
1. Shortcuts in VLC does not work in full-screen after sometime (maybe after the duration when the monitor is set to switch off to save power). The mouse however works.
2. In full screen in VLC, the bar in the bottom does not show immediately when i move the mouse cursor down and the screen flickers. As a result, the experience is not smooth. This is the same for the SMPlayer.

Hi, I encountered a bug in Audacity 1.3.12 Beta (Unicode)
I was trying to export a music bit i cut from a mp3 clip to convert it into m4a format.
The export went fine but the file is not properly saved/created as the file name is messed up. I can't delete that file or rename it.
If i rename it, i get the warning that the file or folder does not exist.
The file name was this : �������������������P������ whereas i named the file as lotr 2.aac

I have also asked the audacity dev team. They said that they do not have such problem in their general version of their software and they just submit their source code to the linux community.

Yes, i have successfully converted it to tar.gz. i've also installed google desktop like that.
But gtalk crashes firefox in my system.

I added multiple repos in pisi including the testing repo.
Is there a way to know which package in pisi belongs to which repo?
If not, then where should i post a feature request?

And you can install google desktop in the same way and it worked. now i've got my whole harddrive indexed and searchable.

I think we only need to know the commands passed by the grub like loader in those distros and then consolidate them into one loader.
