I can make another in color and the full face if you would like, what screen rez?
I have seen the pardus in various colors -- red, orange, yellow, green, and blue -- but yellow/orange may be his natural color.  Full face is good.  1680x1050 or close to it would be nice.

Did you mean how the leopard is off-set?
No, but I would like to see all of him.

What are you seeing?
I am not seeing any color -- maybe just a faint hint of it.  Same is true in 2 other browsers.  It could be a problem on my end.

Can you attach it to a post as a file?

Is there a problem with this image or my display?

It's about using the right program to handle a hybrid-iso file.
And not every .iso file is a hybrid-iso file.
Is there any way to tell hybrid from non-hybrid?

Why he was unsuccessful is a mystery to me at this moment.
There seems to be a trend lately among the reviewers having a problem getting distros to run on their hardware in various configurations.  It seems like we are going backwards in this area.

Thanks for the new site.  Maybe it will help keep everyone up to date on the distro news.

if the base, i.c. mandriva, is no longer reliable, i fear all derivatives will suffer from that too.
You are probably right about that, but I think the people at Mageia, having been rejected by Mandriva, will develop a fully independent distro project.  They can't be happy about the way they were treated.

interesting article, for sure. didn't know about all that takeover stuff
No, I did not either, but none of it sounds like it is good for the little guy user.  Maybe they will be able to get their act together.  If they do not, Mageia will probably replace them totally.

Dark Duck has a Russian back round and so is able to follow the news over there.

I am not sure if Mandriva, Pardus or any other distribution have that kind of resources as Ubuntu in this aspect.
