Um, not a very preferred topic, I see... the reason I need playonlinux is that it can manages all versions of wine. some programs requires a specific wine version to run properly, so this application would come in handy for any wine user.

Pardusman is supposed to create customized install cds, so if you reinstall your system, or want to bring it to another computer, you will have all your programs you want & all theme settings you used, but still has a completely fresh system... its like remastersys for the buntus. Or Im just getting something wrong...

I think it was the plasma. It is actually one of the few themes that Pardus can install right from the "download theme" panel. But now that things came to this... you could also make Samba the default icon theme its way cooler than Oxygen!

General / Tips and tricks / Wine fonts

I was recently in trouble with wine, as one of my wine programs required a certain English phonetic font. Now this font appeared totally scrambled when I thought that moving the font to the windows/fonts folder would be just enough... I figured out however, that I can eliminate this problem by installing the allfont package using winetricks winetricks -> select the default wineprefix -> install a font Well, I have no idea why it solved my problem, but I think that maybe other winefont related problems could be solved in the same way...

Is there any way to use Play on Linux on Pardus? I saw that there was a package for it in P2008, but there is none for P2011... why is that?

There is a KDE theme called "Volatile", this is so cool, that I think it should be the default pardus theme for future versions, or at least it should be included in the "official" theme list! Really!
