(-1) user rating for cdcat-1.2-1,but it is actively developed and presently v1.5 is available.
(-1) user rating for gnomecatalog-0.3.4.2-1,but it might be needing many gnome dependencies.
Is there any more such application?

Can you rearrange (move up or down) photos before renaming in this version?
Before @ a year I was not, hence using krename where it is possible.
As gprename has 6 dependencies, I have not installed it yet.

Enjoying Pardus 2011 (updated to 2011.2) and don’t want to reinstall frequently. So am curious to know -
1) How long Pardus2011 will be supported after release of Pardus 2012?
2) After release of Pardus 2012,which of the following updates for 2011 will be available
(a) only security/critical updates
(b) updates of official Pardus packages
(c)  updates of non official, community maintained applications.
3) Will there be Pardus 2011.3 with later KDE than that of 2011.2's KDE 4.6.5, or we shall have to upgrade to Pardus 2012 for it?
4) Will facility to upgrade from 2011 to 2012 (distupdate) be available soon after release of Pardus 2012 or it will take time, how much time approximately?
5) Does version upgrade (distupdate) work smoothly or fresh install is preferable?
6) Normally how long it takes to port almost all of the packages of old version to new one?
7) What is the criteria for Pardus 2012? Kernel 3.x, Gnome 3.x or......? When it is planned for?

I am subscriber of  Pardus mailing list 1-user,2-stable updates & 3-upgrade(new version release info) with which nothing can be known about the things planned for future. Pardus wiki for  ‘current events’ and ‘recent changes’ too does not give any details regarding this presently. I am not a member of developers’  mailing list as I am not one among them. So are there any other sources to peep in to the future?

BTW it seems there is no mailing list for ‘community maintained non official applications updates’...am I wrong?

Installed both as mentioned,but later removed 'easycrypt'. I discovered that I was using only truecrypt till now!
I could not find any way to browse the truecrypt volume created earlier to install of easycrypt, which is outside of my home folder.
Does not matter. If want to create a new one, shall install it.

Here ends my list of 'must have' applications. Whatever I shall request in future shall be mainly in the interest of Pardus....
either applications to help in beautification of Pardus ( like 'phatch'...details later in the requirement) or to enrich the Pardus repository with good applications like 'calibre' etc.

In Linux Mint 9,during installation of easycrypt,if I remember well,it automatically downloads latest version of truecrypt.
But now, when I checked in xbuntu 11.04 in virtual box of pardus 2011.1,easycrypt gets installed and at first run of easycrypt_2.3.2-0, it points the browser to the download page of truecrypt where option for '.tar.gz containing an executable setup file' is available. If such is the case,will a pisi package of latest truecrypt also be required?... Hence given links for truecrypt too.

After having this package,I can use the 'mint 9' partition as a test bed for 'fsarchiver' or in future may install Pardus 64 bit on it....but not immediately. Now it is time for me to enjoy Pardus 2011.1!

Sorry for the delay,but just now I had the required results.

Installed from the binary i686 package and by running as 'su' created database, but repeatedly was getting " eth0: Not enough data available yet."
At last in system settings>service manager tick marked 'run at start' for vnstat and restarted PC.
