I've already tried to upgrade to anka but the result was quite disastrous, so i asked for the .iso image because i think that will be released when the project is very mature. I don't care about the time, i only hope in a rebirth of pardus.

and for a 64 bit iso?

Someone can tell us how the works are going and other news about anka?

My problem isn't the lack of message, but the lack of internationalization. I know that anka team is working hard and i hope they may release a "stable-enough" .iso for the first days of september. I  don't want to abandon pardus, at least not as long as there is hope

for me the most uncomfortable thing is is the lack of news about the anka project. In turkish there are a lot of discussion but in english are few (or i haven't found it).

Kaptan is one of the some software that made me fall in love for padus.

Keep an eye on sabayon too. i think mandriva is better than mageia, the forum mageia is disinclined to accept suggestions and criticism too. Rosa can be another alternative. Another one can be salixos, it's a easy-to-use slackware-based distro. no one has mentioned opensuse?

even so pardus is pretty unique so a comparison with another distro is very difficult.

For me there is no alternatives. No one distro is at the same level of pardus, only mandriva is at the second  place and slackware at the third place but far away. So anka is dying too?

I get it, however i think that turkish-oriented or not isn't a problem. The important thing is that the system is translated into the major languages​​, including those supported in pardus 2011.2.
