@pantera Looks the pommed package has no effect. No keyboard backlight, etc Maybe it not works on kernel 3.x anymore.

Format my whole machine ... Setup MBR again ... Insert Pardus-Anka Alpha DVD ... Boot .. it startup without the acpi=off option +1 Install Pardus .. Reboot ... And the beauty of Pardus-Anka is there Let the testing begin The first idea ... it all works, it is fast Missing right now: broadcom wl and nvidia

So if you create new partions the problem not exists, and the install works fine? If you only use one partion without an other partition for example /home it also works (on the developer iso I did that to fix the problem).

Sorry .. not gonna hack in grub files etc just to bootup a distro ... I wait for some beta to test it. Look this one is not much different then the developer release

Other question: How does it work? Is there a repo? No nvidia drivers? Are there drivers for broadcom? Maybe some nice little review by someone?

Just tried the Pardus Debain 2013 RC2 iso ... and I must say it feels like the old Pardus. My broadcom wireless works out of the box, my nvidia works out of the box, so it all looks like the old settings. I tried the Gnome version and now I download the KDE version and looks if it really looks and work as the old Pardus. Oh, want to try is yourself? Wait again? You wait before? Or just not use the repo anymore. I just placed it there as backup for pardususer.de and not did anything about it anymore. And I not using Pardus anymore, so no need to look at it. Just wait for Anka if you want to continue with Pardus, and hope that Anka will be the same as the old Pardus.
