Are you also continue building for Pardus after 31 december 2012?

Here are the Anka build-files.
With little edit you can use these for 2011.2 Smiley

48  Assistance / News & Announcements / Re: New repo? on: November 06, 2012, 20:39:07 PM
All good ideas. First we have to wait how SolusOS been work out.
And then we have to wait for the Pardus-Anka release.

Till that time (when pardususer.de shut down) I bring up the pardus whoosh
repo for Pardus 2011.2.

49  Assistance / News & Announcements / New repo? on: November 06, 2012, 11:23:23 AM
As the most already know is that the pardususer repo will close at the end of the year.

Is there need for a new repo? As long Anka is not ready yet?

I am already busy to build the pardususer packages. So is there need?

pantheon is the shell of Elementary OS Luna
51  General / Tips and tricks / Re: Replacement for Pardus: Elementary Luna on: October 03, 2012, 15:36:24 PM
If you watch the developer meeting movie, you get lot of answers.

Yes, it is now Ubuntu based because the focus is on the DE.
And then Ubuntu is easy to use because it support lot of hardware, etc

But in the future it can be based on something else .. maybe arch, or something
else.

But the focus is the DE .. and from login screen to desktop goes in 1 or 2 seconds
Not think KDE or Gnome can beat this.

And I think it pretty rocks Smiley

Using this for some weeks now ... and I love it Smiley
Sure, you love it or not. But, it really rocks.
Fastest distro I ever used on my machine.

Luna is still in development, but Beta will come out soon.

Here some developers video's:

53  General / Tips and tricks / Re: Replacement for Pardus: PCLinuxOS on: September 28, 2012, 14:18:22 PM
Did you allready look at ROSA 2012?
No, will do later.
And a big + for PCLOS is that it's a 100% community driven OS.

+ 100% community driven

But I never get PCLinuxOS Live CD running. Every time it stops at the moment searching USB (something).
It is the only Distro where I get this. So never get the change to test it.

@atolboo

Did you allready look at ROSA 2012? I find this distro great.
The live and install is maybe slow, but once installed it is
very, very fast.
55  General / As seen on the internet / Re: A new distro: Debian under another name and brand on: September 16, 2012, 20:24:19 PM
Because SolusOS is now based on Debian. But that gives lot of troubles, need lot of fixing, etc. So that is why the creator of SolusOS is looking for something different. And that is PISI. And b.t.w. he also work for LinuxMint before, so he really got knowledge. And then all we have todo is building packages, so both can use them. SolusOS and Anka.
56  General / As seen on the internet / Re: A new distro: Debian under another name and brand on: September 16, 2012, 13:11:46 PM
Nope!!

The creator of SolusOS is thinking about to use PISI as package system for SolusOS.
And if SolusOS and Anka create together a repo that both can use, then 2 worlds will
be happy.

All I try to say is that Ikey of SolusOS has a lot of knowledge. He already tweak PISI by
himself, etc. So he already has done more new in 2 weeks then Anka in few months.
Anka is more building packages, and that is also good. But SolusOS is more of develop
the PISI and YALI tools.

Is this really a new ISO? Or still the old one?
Can someone confirm this? Someone install it already?
