At the end of 2012 the pardususer.de repo is going down.
Pardus-Anka is still in development.

So to keep software up-to-date after pardususer.repo is down there is a new repo: pardus-whoosh

JUST IN TEST RIGHT NOW
i686:
Code:
sudo pisi ar pardus-whoosh http://content.wuala.com/contents/richdb/pardus-whoosh/i686/pisi-index.xml.xz -y

if not , pls test on self system. first build the new pisi . the support for mac its open on kernel.

Build new pisi? What new pisi?
And I now got the feeling it is a 3.6.* kernel problem. Tried Fedora 18 ISO tihis evening and it also not boot well Wink

2010 machine ... not call that outdated Wink Not new ... but not outdated.

But other question back: why not freeze software versions and start creating the first Pardus-Anka ISO?
The users are all waiting for this new ISO.

But if this is not possible then we need to setup a kind of LTS for the 2011.2 version. Right know this version is getting out-of-date and maybe dangerous for users. This is also a task for all the developers who working on Pardus-Anka.

Right now I not get the idea there is think about these kind of things. But I told you already, it is so foggy.

72  International Pardus Users / Spanish / Re: Firefox 16.0.2 para Pardus 2011.2 64Bits on: November 13, 2012, 18:25:46 PM
Wrong? Is this wrong https://plus.google.com/111806694067012167877/posts/jk1bY5joC2e ?

And btw I try to boot with obsoluteman on the background, so I am not wrong.
The kernel did not boot on my machine. And the old pardus 2011.2 kernel does, and
also the 3.2.5 kernel from the current (old) Anka kernel does. So stop building a new kernel every day and just choose a version for Pardus-Anka and make this one stable.

But maybe I am just sorry I want to help.
But right now I feel walking around as a chicken without a head if it comes to any Pardus-Anka vision.
Why keep everything so foggy?

As I read this post , I see the #anka-develop on another screen on irc.
They are very busy , it looks.

It may be worth a visit and to ask them these questions

What you think I did the last weeks!!! All I want to do is help. But if you have no idea where to start and where it will finished ...

base and kernel system base its already. we havent conflickt about this.  kernel version can we changing in hours. because we have stabel configurations for kernel i686-x86-64. do not worry

Oh, I know ... setup chroot of new base with you help. But booting the new base did not work at all. Kernel errors.
https://plus.google.com/111806694067012167877/posts/jk1bY5joC2e

So this not give me hope at all.

Again is it so weird I ask for this? And the funny thing is, if there is a kind of vision (in what way) there will be more people who want/like/love to help.

And till that time I will put my energy in updating software for the only Pardus that is working right know, 2011.2.
I am sorry for doing that.
74  International Pardus Users / Spanish / Re: Firefox 16.0.2 para Pardus 2011.2 64Bits on: November 13, 2012, 14:27:37 PM
The first question is how the new system base will look like.
Which version of the kernel, which version of this and which version of that.

I already told that I like to help, but till now it all looks foggy to me.
Everybody is just update build files in my eyes no order.

And why is it so difficult to create a list with all the versions of packages
of Pardus-Anka 2013? Till then, I have no idea what todo and what everybody
else is doing.
