Haha. I think Nazar's are pretty neat, too.

A mysterious little System Tray applet. What does it do, besides protect me form evil looks?
3  General / Tips and tricks / Re: Even better looking fonts on: June 25, 2007, 17:11:44 PM
That works great! I wonder why it's not available through PiSi, maybe under the title "mstt-corefonts"
4  Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Re: OpenOffice and Firefox don't spellcheck on: June 24, 2007, 21:42:33 PM
I installed this using the Get Extensions link, but it still doesn't spellcheck my text. I have spellchecking enabled in Preferences as well.

That fixed my OpenOffice problem, which should be sufficient for now (I got by just fine before the firefox live search feature), although down the road I'd like Firefox and Thunderbird to spellcheck too.

I'm assuming you're referring to aspell-en. I can't find any obvious OpenOffice dictionary in PiSi either under Installed or New packages, with both the main and community repositories.

EDIT: My mistake, installing openoffice-dicts right now. Hope this fixes Firefox too.
7  Assistance / Configuring Pardus / OpenOffice and Firefox don't spellcheck on: June 24, 2007, 21:00:14 PM
I'm assuming that Firefox is supposed to spellcheck by default, as I've seen it everywhere else, and that there's no extension that I need to enable. I didn't see any spellchecker in my extensions dialog. For some reason, there's no spellcheck in my text fields (English). I recall this was an issue in Sabayon, and I installed myspell-en, and everything was fine. I already have aspell-en installed, so I'm not sure why spellchecking doesn't work in either app.
8  Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Re: Firefox persists, won't quit with key combination on: June 24, 2007, 20:54:31 PM
No, but I suppose I could. For now, I can live with Alt+F+Q
9  Assistance / Configuring Pardus / Firefox persists, won't quit with key combination on: June 24, 2007, 19:47:41 PM
The only way I can quit Firefox is to go to the File menu and select Quit. Ctrl+W or Ctrl+Q, no matter how many times used, won't quit the app. Is there a fix for this? I couldn't find anything searching the forums or wiki...
10  Assistance / News & Announcements / Re: Pardus 2007.2 Release Candidate on: June 24, 2007, 19:39:02 PM
Any difference between this new RC and my up-to-date installed version of 2007.2 Beta, besides maybe the installer? Just making sure. Pardus is great so far!
11  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Re: Pardus package search? on: June 19, 2007, 19:12:58 PM
Much thanks. I see that this forum isn't dead, it's just sleeping and bored because people aren't asking for help.
12  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Re: Pardus package search? on: June 19, 2007, 18:13:47 PM
There's no online search though?

P.S. I've used Quanta, but I can visualize my code very well, so Bluefish works for me.
13  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Pardus package search? on: June 19, 2007, 15:43:21 PM
Where can I go to browse or search through a list of packages available for Pardus? Also, where can I go to request a package? Pardus is badly in need of Bluefish!
14  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Upgrade from 2007.1 to 2007.2? on: June 19, 2007, 05:41:16 AM
Once 2007.2 goes final, could a 2007.1 install, clean, upgrade successfully? I'm thinking it may be a good idea to install 2007.1 instead of the beta (which worked fine, but I'd rather rest my hopes on the stable) and then upgrade, as are most users, I'm assuming.
15  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Community repository? on: June 16, 2007, 16:55:09 PM
There are some packages I can't find in the repository set after a fresh install, and I've heard that there's a sizable alternate "community" repository. What is its name and address so I can add it? Particularly, I need Bluefish and an English spellchecker.
