Thanks for the welcome. I'm in Kent, near Ashford.

Hi, my name's Eric, and I've been using Linux for about 10 years, but I've only just now found my way to Pardus. It's on my test machine at the moment and looking good. Smiley

Basket is a must-have program for me, but unfortunately I find the implementation in Pardus 2007.2 almost unusable because of a problem with encryption/decryption. For some reason I have to enter the password multiple times (10 or more times on occasion) before the action is accepted. This isn't because I'm typing it wrongly - I simply type the same thing repeatedly and eventually it works.

This problem seems to be associated with pinentry, and OpenSuse 10.3 has the same problem, so it's not specifically a Pardus problem. With other distros not using pinentry there is no problem with passwords in Basket.

Can anyone suggest a solution?
