31  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Re: Live CD on: February 09, 2011, 18:25:21 PM
I think for future releases, it is very important if the live and installation images can be merged. most of the distros are offering this way and it is really convenient.

Someone is working on this.

Yeah, but the spammer bots should be blocked a priori, not by me or an administrator a posteriori. There is no such security hole in Wikipedia, so it should be possible to take care of the issue.

The reason could be that you find a bug on the beta release of Pardus 2011.

You can check for errors in /var/log/kdm.log , /var/log/messages,  /var/log/Xorg.0.log

The better output you can give is to write a bug report for each issue you encounter. If there is a bug report already for a bug, you can add comments to it.
38  Assistance / Pardus for beginners / Re: can't view .CSV format [solved] on: August 17, 2010, 19:41:40 PM
csv stands for "comma-separated values". It's a simple text file format in which a column is symbolized by the space in between two commas.

41  General / Tips and tricks / Re: Hungarian locale in Pardus on: June 14, 2010, 21:03:31 PM
You don't have to edit /etc/profile.env. It is done automatically.

Selecting your language :
(1) in the configuration center > Region & Language> country & language
(2) in system-manager

should be sufficient, provided all the localized pakages have been installed (search for "hu" in package-manager to list them)

OK, I thought your post was about reiserfs.
43  General / Tips and tricks / Re: Faster Pussy Cat on: June 13, 2010, 12:55:05 PM
I agree with trixon. It makes no sense to replace ext4fs by reiserfs in your fstab file. Either you have formatted your partitions with reiser filesystem, and fstab has automatically been written accordingly, either you have formatted your partitions with the default ext4 filesystem, and editing fstab won't change that.

If you have ext4 partitions and reiserfs in your fstab, you are very, very lucky to be able to boot - actually it means that there is a bug somewhere !
44  Assistance / Installing Pardus / Re: Custom installing Pardus 2009.2 on eeePC on: June 12, 2010, 19:14:39 PM
4 Gb is the minimal required disk space for Pardus, so it should be possible to install it. Perform a manual partitionning instead of the automatic one.

It's supposed to be KDE 4.4.3. That's what the release notes will say.
