Pardus' managers are so closely integrated with KDE that I don't think you can remove them. But you can use XFCE desktop and applications without removing KDE packages.

Another solution is to use virtualbox to run Windows and all of its applications inside the Pardus desktop.

I got this too, except that it's not the computer, but only plasma that stops. "Alt-F2 plasma" is able to solve the freeze.

You are right, but it's strange that he can not remove repositories with terminal.

It's the most serious pisi bug I have ever seen. I think it has to be reported as a bug, even though there is an upcoming version of Pardus.

Mixing repositories from different version of Pardus is really not a good idea.

Neither VLC or Mplayer is able to read it because there is no wmas audio decoder :

It's Microsoft and David Rockefeller's WWF that are behind this initiative. I don't trust them, so I won't use nor publicize it.

I think that is more a new attempt from Microsoft to bring more users to its search engine, than an ecological initiative.
