I tested the new Upgrade Manager (Upgrade Pardus 2008 to Pardus 2009). I have upgraded my Pardus Pardus 2008.2 to 2009 it was excellent. I have managed to get the highest possible resolution and performance of my graphical environment.
I have no sound in Pardus 2009.
I have no sound. A common debugging is performed in kmix so nothing is crossed there. But the most serious is that when I go in to the menu (System-System Settings-Multimedia) When I click on Multimedia to start Multimedia, but Multimedia dies out and the whole system setup environment just disappear into a smoke. Stays with a normal desktop. If I did not come in Multimedia, I can not do a complete diagnostic of the sound. There are no problems with other applications that are in the system settings. All works without any problems, it's only multimedia, this error seems to be serious. I can not be without sound.
I now have sound in Firefox, can listen to the radio in Firefox. I have no sound in Amarok and other programs. No system sounds.
