Thanks. After all updates my bluetooth still does not work. The PC does not see the adapter at all even if I start service manualy. The guide in bug report did not help in my case though.

But this problem has not been solved yet although it marked as solved. I was not able to find any good info about connecting via blue tooth in Pardus. Did actually anyone manage to use blue tooth in Pardus?

I am trying to connect my Iogear Blue Tooth adapter, but no success so far. On my desktop after pluging in the adapter the light on the adapter goes on but system does not see it. It says "Blue Tooth adapter not present"
On laptop I have the same issue, but blue light on the adapter goes on and immediately goes OFF. Again system says "Adapter Not Present." Is there a way to make it work in Pardus. Just in case, it used to work with Ubuntu.

The CD seems to be fine. Yes, it freezes so many times that I stopped using it on my laptop for now. The desktop runs a bit better.
Not sure with the RAM. Vista works flawlessly on laptop. Not a single freeze )))
I am a big supporter of Linux then. Used to have Ubuntu on laptop. It worked fine. Now switched to KDE and it freezes   

LOL. Well, yeah the bug exists but I have no idea how to catch it )). The hardware seems to be recognized fine. Some clues that Skype also has a bug. It takes long time to log in, then it.....freezes and system stalls. If I find some more thoughs I ll post here.

This question sounds a bit silly but.....Why does Pardus stall? Quite often firefox just freezes and it it had to be terminated.
Sometimes the whole system just freezes and I have to reboot. I have Parus installed on laptop and desktop. On desktop it works a bit better though, but still. Laptop freezes constantly. Is there anything that can be done? I do not perform any big operations. Just browsing the net or typing or other small stuff.

I just got rid of SUSE on my Desktop. Pardus works awesome so far! I was able to lunch Java. So, it works on my Desktop x386 machine but not on my Laptop x64. I have some other issues with laptop that I dont have on my Desktop. I wll post them in other threads.
But overall I am very happy with Pardus so far. Tried almost every distro and choose Pardus. Long live to that OS and thanks a lot to Turkish friends.

Some updates. When I run another applet from the same site it loaded fine. And then the first applet (trading system) starts working fine too. It looks so confusing and hard to explain. Like, Java seems to be working but aftter some tricks. When I try to access my first applet for the first time Firefox just stalles and I have to  terminate it. (

I have similiar issue. I try to connect my headset bluetooth. When I insert blue tooth adapter into USB port i see blue light goes on, but it immediately goes away. I guess the adapter stays OFF then. The output from kinputwizard is similar to the previous poster. Can it be a USB issue?

I have Pardus 08 installed on my TOshiba x64 laptop. So far so good. I love that system. But I faced some problems while trying to run Java-enabled page. Firefox was not able to lunch the applet and just stalled. Java check says that I have everything installed. And in general Java works. But for some reason it crashes trying to run Java applet on some websites. I switched to Pardus KDE from Ubuntu. It worked fine in Ubuntu though. I also had such problems in OpenSUSE. And I assume its KDE issue, not Pardus in particular. What can be the problem?
