which webcam works with Pardus?

I'm thinking about buying a webcam - but only if it works with Pardus.

I live in the UK, if that makes any difference. (Probably not considering everything is made in China these days.)

So, has anyone had success with a webcam on Pardus? Which make/manufacteurer? Or which ones to avoid?

I don't have a webcam myself, but I saw that Logitech webcams work well with Pardus.
qc-usb and qc-usb messenger are the drivers you need:

The qc-usb driver is known to work with the following webcams:

    * Dexxa Webcam
    * Labtec Webcam (old model)
    * LegoCam
    * Logitech QuickCam Express (old model)
    * Logitech QuickCam Notebook (some models)
    * Logitech QuickCam Web

If you want to buy another webcam, best thing to do is to type: 'webcam' in Pisi Package management, and than google the drivers to see with which webcams they work.

I do have a webcam and it once worked on linux, but since my pardus install I haven't set it up yet. It's a logitech quickcam messenger. I based my decision to buy this webcam on some of the comments made on this blogpost:

There is one driver (and Pardus is equipped with it...), that supports many webcams: the gspca driver. Take a look at http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html to see which cams... It's quite a long list
