Hello all together.
Hallo alle zusammen.

I´m looking for an Boinc-Version for Pardus.
Ich suche eine Version von Boinc für Pardus.

Is there any Package?
Gibt es ein fertiges Paket?

If not, how can I build one?
Wenn nicht, wie kann ich eins erstellen?

I'm not familiar with Bionic, but there doesn't seem to be any packages for it.  If you can find it as a .RPM or a .taz.gz, you should be able to install it by using the package rpm2targz on the .rpm and untarring the tarball.

I'm using boinc with Pardus. It's very easy. Just download boinc from http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php and put it in your homedir.
You can install it by making the downloaded file executable and then run it:

Code:
chmod +x boinc_5.8.16_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh
./boinc_5.8.16_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh

and answer the questions you'll get.

To start boinc automagicly after each (re-)boot of Pardus you can put the next at the end of the file /etc/conf.d/local.start:

Code:
cd /home/<username>/BOINC
./boinc 1>&2 &

instead of <username> you should fill in your username.
You should edit the file local.start as root (a "normal" user can't edit it).
