when i try to open package manager it remains on "Loading application..." for around 30 seconds and then it did not open. Pisi works fine, and this starts happening when i installed nvidia drivers (on a clean and upgraded 2007.1 (to 2007.2) installation). Someone knows how to fix this problem? I also tried to reinstall package manager, but nothing changed.

Exactly what i did is:

_install Pardus 2007.1
_upgrade the 267 packages with Package Manager (here Package Manager freezed when re-updating package database, but all works fine when i reboot)
_reboot system
_download (and install, of course) nvidia-glx-new, nvidia-kernel-new and nvidia-tools-new with Package Manager
_sudo nvidia-xconfig
_ctrl+alt+del

and then Package Manager didn't open also after several reboots.

Maybe you can try to upgrade via the console with:
sudo pisi up

That's not the problem, after the restart pisi and package manager were working fine, updating the database and downloading/installing nvidia drivers correctly... It's after X restart that i can't open package manager. I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall package manager via console, and pisi shows correctly

Have you tried to rebuild the database?

The problem was in italian localization, in file LocaleData.py there is, correctly,

Code:
locales = {
    "tr" : "tr_TR.UTF8",
    "en_US" : "en_US.UTF-8",
    "nl" : "nl_NL.UTF-8",
    "de" : "de_DE.UTF-8",
    "fr" : "fr_FR.UTF-8",
    "it" : "it_IT.UTF-8",
    }

but don't know why with the italian localization it didn't install (maybe a dependancies problem) the package glibc-locales-it, this resulting in a crash because in locale.py the function setlocale tried to return an unvalid locale.

I hope it can help, and hope i have explained decently =)
