Hi again, I am happy to report that I have been using Pardus 2009 for a number of weeks now without a single hitch.  Even my wife and children are using it on there laptop again without any problems.  Very nice work.  I have attached my latest desktop, loving Pardus  Grin

My Pardus 2009 desktop with colours that are pleasing to me.  I borrowed preferences-desktop-screensaver . png for the application launcher menu.

I really like the colours you've chosen Lisa. It's nice to see a change from the usual blue and green Linux desktops :-)

Hi SpecialEd,

Nice desktop!  I have to ask, how did you get those outputs in the upper right hand corner?  I'm curious as I recently installed antiX for one of our older machines that has a AMD k7 microprocessor and it too has the same outputs that I have never seen before on a desktop.

Yeah!  Thats pretty much the 2011 default desktop with the wallpaper chosen through kaptan.  Only things i added were superkaramba and a couple of icons.  I subscribed to the KISS principle. Smiley

I'm a copycat.  Grin Thanks for the idea for the Superkaramba widget. I tried to get the Plasma version to work to no avail.

I like having the panel up top since my mouse is usually closer to the top anyway.
I must say, I love how Gtk apps take on my color schemes in Pardus. Is that specific to Pardus? I don't recall that happening in other distros I've tried.
