Hi all,

I have noticed that there is a Beryl package in the dutch repo, but since beryl is no longer developed after their merger with compiz, is there any chance of a *.pisi of compiz in the making?

I've tried to do it myself, but failed miserably....

There is no useable compiz release, you can only compile it manually by checking out the git repository of compiz. When compiz is released, it will be packaged.

Btw, there's a video I just recorded. Pardus, Compiz Fusion and XFCE Smiley

Please read this document for compiling compiz [1] and get help from the open compositing forum [2]

A git branch has been packaged and it stays on Contrib. Please add contrib repository via package-manager (0) and install all Compiz packages from left section.

Make sure that you have installed graphic drivers and 3d acceleration works and enable Composite extension by editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Restart your X and click, "Menu - Applications -  System - Compiz Fusion - Fusion Icon"
