I'm using ffmpeg to convert .wmv to .mpg-files, ex:
ffmpeg -i in.wmv -pass 1 -target pal-dvd -aspect 4:3 out.mpg
ffmpeg -i in.wmv -pass 2 -target pal-dvd -aspect 4:3 out.mpg

Conversion is done but there is a message saying:
Compiler did not align stack variables. Libavcodec has been miscompiled
and may be very slow or crash. This is not a bug in libavcodec,
but in the compiler. Do not report crashes to FFmpeg developers.

I've seen that message many times converting movies from one format to another, but it never gave any problem. So I think it doesn't do any harm.

This is because we use gcc 3.x but this problem doesn't affect Linux only Windows, so feel free to ignore it.
