Great, thanks for testing  Cool

Then there wouldent be any problem to have 2 grub lines as default in pardus and name one of them (recovery mode)

That will solve alot of problems in the feature Wink

No, shouldn't be a problem.  I'm betting if you were to make a second line with Pardus starting in text, you might be on to something!

That's exactly what I now have in my grub configuration file  Wink

Code:
title Pardus 2007.2
root (hd0,0)
kernel (hd0,0)/boot/kernel-2.6.18.8-86 root=/dev/sda1 video=vesafb:nomtrr,pmipal,ywrap,1024x768-32@60 console=tty2 mudur=language:en
initrd (hd0,0)/boot/initramfs-2.6.18.8-86

title Pardus 2007.2 recovery / text mode
root (hd0,0)
kernel (hd0,0)/boot/kernel-2.6.18.8-86 root=/dev/sda1 video=vesafb:nomtrr,pmipal,ywrap,1024x768-32@60 xorg=off console=tty2 mudur=language:en

Just got some info, it doesnt work if Xorg is broken.
like adding in xorg:
Code:
Section "Extensions"
    Option "Composite" "0"
EndSection

As there is some guides telling you to use "0" or "1" and that wont work offcourse.

Then you are screwed  Grin
Its still becomes black screen for us.

the only way for us ATI users to get it fixed is to formating whole hd or use a live-cd somehow.
Dont know how nvidia acts.....
