Well I bought the notebook. But there are many problems in the default installation of pardus 2007.2.
1- Ethernet interface not working:
Open source forcedeth driver which comes along with pardus supposed to make nforce ethernet interfaces up and running. But it isn't doing any good intended to do. I think newer kernels may support that. At least 2.6.20 or later.

Again semi open source drivers of atheros chipset supposed to make wife run but again it doesn't. Which I learned so far is they aren't thinking support Atheros AR5007EG before 6 months. The only way making wireless work is using ndiswrapper. I installed latest ndiswrapper and xp drivers of wireless from acer's ftp. And then added atheros wireless modules to blacklist. Result was a success.

The sound chipset is from realtek. I just updated latest alsa drivers from repository and sound start working.
4- Webcam not working:
I made some google search and found that uvcvideo drivers supposed to give life to my webcam. I installed them from repository. The video device was created by the driver. But I still can't get a nice view out of cam.
