To open Pisi Package management one should go to Pardus > Tasma > System

In earlier versions of Pardus there was a shortcut in the Pardus menu under Programs > System

Do you think it should return in Pardus 2007.1 ?

I've made it easy by dragging the package manager to my desktop. It sits there beside pisibul, so I can search, install, upgrade, etc. the program's very easy.

I think it should be easier to reach by default. In this design, we have to click three times (Pardus>Tasma>System Settings) and double click once (Package Manager) to reach it.

I just double-click the cat icon in task-bar.

I definetily do think that PiSi has to be located somehwere under Pardus.

After last upgrade PiSi crushed and after killing the application the cat icon has dissappeared from the Panel. I thought I had to resart Pardus and I did and still couldn't find PiSi's graphical interface to run it (I have tried to run the command pisi etc.). So, I thought I have to reinstall PiSi and started to search for the problem and ended up here Smiley Now I've learned that I was just looking in a wrong place...

For newbee's like me, it isn't that easy to find or even to know! If it wasn't for my brother, I don't think I would have come up to know about PiSi! Maybe after some forumquestions yes  Cheesy. So for me: take it easier to make it in Pardus. And maybe a guiding tour? So that newbee's could handle Pardus quicker and easier?Huh?

I keep tasma configuration center shortcut in my taskbar.

Tasma> System> Package Manager

Or simply click menu and you should see Package manager.

Or the cute lil cat in the orange package box that in your notification area.
You can't miss it.
It's easy.

It took me a short while to get the hang of Pisi, but I think it's easy to find.   Cheesy  Plus it finally dawned on me what the cat in the box was...

Your source list;

Code:
pisi list-repo

To add repo, see;

Code:
pisi help add-repo

I do not think Pisi is difficult to find at all.

The only issue with Pisi for me is that if I try to add a third repository after contribs (say test), it does not want to stay there and disappears. But I think a bug has been filed already on this.
