Hello,
I'm using Pardus since several months and I find it a fine distro!Now I have made een new installition (2007.2),I have made een new partition(Linux) and copy all doc's and data in that partition! After the installation ,that partition is empty !!!The only thing in that partition is  a map lost+found!Can I still recrup the lost data? Can somebody help me.Thanks.

Make sure the partition is mounting properly...  Did you by chance let the install cd format the partition?  I'll try to help where I can.

No I did not let th cd format that partition ,only te root en the swap partition

Hmm, it seems to mount OK. Otherwise you wouldn't see the lost+found directory that is on every linux partition.

Anything in there by any chance, or is it empty?

Have you searched your other partitions? Maybe there's some sort of naming problem.

Hmmm, I've had folders show up, but no info with an unmounted partition.  Do you have a live cd to verify the info is still there?  Roverrat is on to something though.

Willy try this;

Add applet to your taskbar
Add Storage Media to your taskbar
When Storage Media Is on your taskbar, right click and choose " configure Storage Media"

You now can configure what media to mount and view by checking the box.

The data partition you created is probably not checked to mount or view.
