hello. i just downloaded pardus after watching it on distrowatch for some time now. it's been very intriguing. i finally downloaded it and wiped out my mandriva installation only to find that i can't get the installation cd to be recognized on boot. i've never had this problem before and i've installed many different os's on this laptop this year alone.
is there a special way i need to burn the image to disc? i've tried burning it using several different programs including some on my windows xp desktop.
i'm trying a different type of media as i type this so if it works i'll let you know.
in the meantime, i would appreciate any advice i can get, as the temporary foresight install i put on here is pretty lackluster.
