Language support.

Finnish language on install or more Better support for Finnish language that could be installed with Pisi. 

i can install the finnish packages but still many things are left english.

One of the goals is to have Pardus translated in any language, including Finish.
Only problem is that altought the KDE packages are in Finish, the Pardus exclusive packages are not translated. Maybe you can help us with translating, or maybe other forum members can help??

It is very easy, just install kdesdk.
It contains a programm called KBabel, with which it is easy and fun to translate .

you can fins any information about translating Pardus into you native language.

Replace the English text "Select the partitioning method" with a Finnish text?

No, download a .po file, and open it with KBabel, leave the english line in place, but translate it in the box below the english line in finish

and can i find like some other languages " po " files somewhere so i can do a little comparing so im sure im doing it right. 

i wanna get the whole picture clear to my head on what im doing before i start something that big. 

i did try KBabel and seems its a clear way to manage the translation.

Good idea that you first want to check out what it is all about.
http://svn.pardus.org.tr/uludag/trunk/kaptan/po/nl.po
shows an example of a .po file I translated.
Po files are language files.
On http://svn.pardus.org.tr/uludag/ you can check out all the files in Pardus, this is the SVN (see also http://subversion.tigris.org/) directory.  Is Pardus an open project or what ?

yes its a big job, but hopefully will get it done. will sure need checking on those translations too.

Some lines are just hard to translate 

and by the way The Finnish section is Great.
one small thing just.. the Forum section desc.

Yeah, this:

sounds more like Estonian or something..   

"Hei ja tervetuloa Pardus Foorumille!" like Night suggested is good..
