I'd like to run boinc (distributed computing) on my Pardus-computer. And I'd like to start boinc automagicly on the background each time I boot the computer, so boinc has to be started as a service.
On SuSE, Kubuntu and all those other big distro's I could do that with a script in the init-directory, but Pardus has a other way to start the services.
Can someone tell how I can do this, or give me a sample script to start a service (and tell me where I put that script...)?

Do you know the answer to your question now?
I'm interesting in it too.

Yes, and it's very easy. You have to edit (with root-rights) the file /etc/conf.d/local.start and add the following at the end of it:
Code:
cd /path/to/boinc
./boinc 1>&2 &

where, of course, you'll have to fill in the right path to your boinc dir.
Every command you put in the file /etc/conf.d/local.start will be executed at the start-up of Pardus.
