There exists a Wiki for Pardus:

www.pardus-wiki.org

If You look inside You have the choose between Italian, Dutch, English and Turkish.

Turkish Page is full of Information and How to do, all the otherers are nearly emptys pages.

Is there any way to translate the turkish How to do's into English? I guess this would make Pardus more confortable and famous to the user.

My Turkish unfortunaly is too bad.

Hi,
I can translate them. But first, I need to make a priority list. Btw, some of the howtos in Turkish wiki don't apply to most users other than Turkish (like translating kde, setting kmail for use in Turkish universities, listening Turkish online radioes with kaffeine, Turkish SVN howto, Turkish feature lists and tips for major(140 of them!) games and applications).

So, which translations do you need most?
* Using multimedia keyboards with lineak
* Using Gmail in KMail
* Using Google Talk account in Kopete
* Using gmailfs
* Installing Picasa
* Installing Google Earth
* Internet Explorer with ies4linux
* Installing mouse cursors
* Forgotton password recovery
* Creating local pisi repository
* Using pardusman to create custom Pardus CD/DVD/usb flash disc
* Deleted file recovery with testdisc

or if you have other topics, just reply this thread. I'll start translating next wednesday Smiley

Hi,

Your list of priority is all right.
It will be very kind of You to translate all those things. Many thanks.

I did install Google earth and followed the turkish wiki. It functions quite well. I made a turkish course,because I am interesseted in  linguages, but yet I do not know Turkish very well. Maybe this will change after some more lessons.

That would be smashing, jnmbk !
Personally, I am very frustrated about the COMAR turkish-only documentation webpages. Here and there.

Official Pardus translator said that English comar documents will be done after comar2 is released. So I don't want to do double work here. comar2 has many changes (now uses PolicyKit and DBUS).

Now that PardusWiki is available in English, people should contribute, however little, to translating it into their own native language.

It would be great if someone(knowing turkish) translates the hardware page into english. Many people have hardware questions and that will help them solve problems by themselves.
