I´d like to reattempt to get IDJC working. One of the requirements is libshout >2.0, this used to be in the Pardus repo´s, however I CANnot find it anymore at this time.

Where can I get the proper PISI file to install libshout?

Hmm, It has been removed from developer's playground. Please download the source and compile it by;

Code:
./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static
make
sudo make install

Thought I FOUND IT BY USE OF PisiBul however:

Doelmap: /home/michiel/Desktop

I also tried to install from the tar.gz source, however when doing the .configure for IDJC it is stated that shout cannot be found? Sonething goes wrong when installing from source apparently, I will try the additional code you posted above here...

Update this worked out for me, now I will be trying to play with IDJC, thanks for your quick answer.

I am trying all this again.

libshout appears to compile and install well using the tar.gz file

However when trying to compile IDJC it keeps saying:

no package 'shout' found

In contrast to 2007.3 I cannot continue compiling and installing IDJC.

Have tried several versions of libshout, but keeps giving this error.

Anyone any suggestions?

(still I wonder why the PISI package for libshout has never returned in the repo's!)
