Hi

Thank you so much for Pardus!

A recent convert to Linux (4/5 months?), struggling to find something both easy, efficient and good looking, I found all in Pardus!

The two or three things which made the difference:
- atheros wireless recognition and configuration from minute 1
- PISI (amazing tool!)
- HOW FAST IT IS!!!

It now runs on my laptop, with my desktop being a MacMini running OS X 10.4

The only problem I had was with the disk utility. I had to format some HD using OpenSuse because the admin mode of the disk format utility was hanging the computer?

Anyway, now a Pardus convert, thank you so much for all you do!

Welcome to Pardus Smiley Its great to see someone as enthusiastic as you, PISI is incredible isn't it? The way you can see every single package, yet not be overwhelmed by the information, such as in synaptic. Wireless support is legendary.
I'm sorry to hear about the disk utility, but I'm glad that didn't stop you from using Pardus Tongue

(Mhmrcs, you fooled me.  I thought they were coming out of the woodwork, as the saying goes.  Grin  )

This is nice to greet those that were never formerly welcomed.  Greetings to all!

I agree!
Let's see, coming out of the wood work to me means people showing up out of nowhere because of something important to them or something they want to partake in.  They seem to come from everywhere, even the wood work.   Smiley

Thanks if you can help Willem!

And a late Welcome Azra, but we've said hello, afore.    Smiley

Funny you should mention this about losing your title.  I was recently thinking how I would like mine to stay "Newbie" as I don't know much about LINUX.   If I post enough to reach that level, I'll trade you my master for newbie.   Wink
